Hey Friends!
My name is Shae and I’ll be your host! I’m currently a junior in college studying mass communications, a pilot in training, a pageant director, competitor, and now a podcaster!
Most of my life revolves around pageantry, as I have been captivated by this fascinating world of fashion and philanthropy since I was six years old. My parents put me in my first pageant, a local Cinderella, with the desperate hope to raise my confidence. I was an extremely shy child who refused to speak at school and was falling behind in my social development. I don’t remember much about my first pageant, but I do remember the way that being on stage made me feel. With the help of amazing directors, supportive parents, and the right pageant system, I was able to make a “social 180”. Unfortunately, by the age of twelve, all of the pageants in our area had dissipated, and I was forced to leave the sport that I loved.
Five years passed, and pageantry never made its return to my hometown, so I decided to start my own system with the dream of “creating confident queens”. I knew how much pageantry had changed my life, and I could not let the young girls in my community be deprived of the opportunities that I once had. Three years and seventeen pageants later, my dreams of creating confident queens in my hometown have expanded all across Texas and the surrounding states. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to impact thousands of girls each year, and I am hopeful that this podcast will allow me to reach even more. Thank you so much for being here!
